Earth Day Tree & Solar Lights......

So those that have yards know that they are a total work in progress.......Shawn and I have been working in our back yard, little by little and it is starting to look a ton better.....we still need to do the edging around the grass, weed block, plant more flowers/shrubs/grasses, mulch, and build a pergola....but I am content if we do not get any of that done until we get back (well, the pergola is a few years out)......We did plant a tree for Earth Day, we got it free from our neighbors (thanks Garcia's, they have given us both trees we have planted).........Our new tree is a Live Oak, so it will get big and provide our back yard some much needed shade in a few years!....It is about 3-4ft tall already....unlike our other tree we planted which is 4-5 inches.....This weekend we also took advantage of Costco Coupons and picked up an 8-pack of solar lights....LOVE THEM....They make the yard look so much better and it is nice to have some light out there at night!!!
